Shaken and Stirred, This week and Last Week

Join us every Wednesday night at The Delancey (168 Delancey St. between Clinton and Attorney) when we bring you Ny's best kept secret: Shaken and Stirred. Each week we'll be posting info about our featured dancer for the next show and provided a cheeky recap of what happened last week.

On Feb. 2nd we will be featuring HARVEST MOON! with special guest from the West Coast, ANGELIQUE DE VIL, NASTY CANASTA will be our gorgeous gogo dancer and GINGER TWIST will be debuting in the Sugar Shack! DJ JESS is back from Berlin!

http://www.facebook.com/?ref=home#!/event.php?eid=137127956349266

Find out a little more about our featured dancer, HARVEST MOON (www.missharvestmoon.com) :

Harvest Moon, also known as "The Sultry Siren of Burlesque", began her career by founding the legendary dance troupe The Cantankerous Lollies in 1995. Miss Moon's troupe quickly became San Francisco's premiere showgirl act, known for their Montmartre-style cabarets, including rousing Can-Cans which would've made Toulouse Lautrec proud.

And if you missed last week, check out what Scooter Pie has to say about it:

Think of Shaken & Stirred like the US Postal Service- not rain, nor sleet, nor dark of night (nor all three combined!) will keep us from our appointed duties of keeping NYC (and the rest of the world, thanks to our live webcast on nycliverock.com) dancing, hollerin', and all-around thoroughly entertained. Case in point: this week's show, on January 26th- despite a(nother) big ol' blizzard brewing outside, our featured guest Tansy and go-go/kitten of the week Rosabelle Selavy sure helped us keep things toasty, and all the folks at the Delancey on their feet. Rosabelle wowed us with her yoga-riffic moves, and, thanks to Tansy, none of us will look at Snow White quite the same way again. Additionally, Scooter awarded someone in the crowd a free drink for "enthusiastically yelling the word 'pee'", and Sue was defeated during her chess act by a wily audience member (hi Frances!).
Whatever the weather next week, there are sure to be plenty of antics in store to shake and stir you up very, very well.
XOXO
Scooter Pie

See you on Wednesday!
